Nuviderm At Home Tattoo Removal – What You Need To Know

Friday, July 31st, 2009

At home tattoo removal is a relatively new option and Nuviderm is leading the way with quality products, unsurpassed live consultation and an iron clad money back 6 month guarantee.

Tattoo removal is a lengthy process, don’t believe anyone who says otherwise. How could something meant to be permanent be easily removed? Even state of the art Lasers require several expensive and painful sessions with no guarantee of satisfaction which is why Laser clinics offer no money back guarantees.

Tattoo removal creams, on the other hand, offer a simple, pain free form of tattoo removal except for one thing – tattoo removal creams don’t work. They contain nothing more than a variety of skin pigment lightening products that may actually lighten the top layer of skin covering the tattoo by removing or inhibiting the production of melanin, the chemical in the skin that determines a persons skin color, but they don’t lighten or remove tattoo ink.

Skin lightening chemicals most commonly found in tattoo removal creams include hydroquinone, a suspected carcinogen banned in many Asian and European countries, alpha arbutin, kojic acid and bearberry extract. There is absolutely no medical evidence that any of these skin tone lightening chemicals have any effect whatsoever on tattoo ink. The best proof that they don’t work is the fact that not one tattoo removal cream manufacturer offers any kind of money back guarantee except for one, and they only accept returns within 30 days that have not been opened, require a Return Authorization number that can never be acquired and require that the returned package be insured by the sender. Fail to meet any of these stringent requirements and they keep your money. For all intents and purposes their so called “guarantee” is just a marketing ploy to try and reassure potential buyers of a risk free purchase when in reality no money will ever be returned.

The truth is, removing a tattoo is a lengthy process that requires patience, care and determination. The main difference in tattoo removal methods that actually work is the cost. One $39.95 ounce of Nuviderm contains the tattoo removal power of about $750.00 worth of Laser treatments and requires about the same amount of time. Put another way, Laser removal costs about 20 times what Nuviderm costs for an equivalent size tattoo. Nuviderm, if applied as directed, will also be much less painful than the laser procedure.

One weakness of laser removal of tattoos is the color of ink used in the tattoo. Laser destruction of tattoo pigment is limited by the wavelength of the laser in use. Many bright colors of tattoo ink such as white, yellow, pink, light blue and light green are simply not easily treatable by laser.

In fact, using Nuviderm will aid the process of laser removal, if used first, because it will fade the tattoo making the job of the Laser much easier and less painful – less tattoo pigment means fewer Laser treatments and less pain because the faded tattoo pigment results in a less harsh effect on the skin by the Laser beam. Or, you could just finish the job with Nuviderm and not even to go near a Laser clinic saving you the time, hassle and the expense of driving to and from a probably inconvenient Laser clinic location.

Control Panic Attacks: A Guide to a Calmer Life

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

It is getting hard to breathe deeply. It feels like there are giant hands pressing on your breastbone and your spine. Everything around you is starting to spin. You know that these are all the symptoms of a heart attack. There is only one issue, though. You also know that you are not having one.

A panic attack is a type of anxiety disorder that affects millions of people each year. The attacks can be so debilitating that sufferers often find themselves unable to leave their homes or do simple everyday tasks. The isolation that is caused by these attacks can lead to depression and inability to function. Thankfully, there are many safe and effective panic attack cures that can help even the most persistent of sufferers.

Instead, you are having a full-blown panic attack. You have already been through this a bunch of times. You and your doctor have discussed what to do to control panic attacks. So, why is this happening again?

Most likely, you have forgotten to do the proper things before arriving at the place you find is causing the attack. There are some very specific ways to prevent panic attacks. This is a much better option than waiting for one to begin and trying to control it.

First and foremost, you must learn to recognize what triggers your panic attacks. These are different for every sufferer, so it is extremely important that you are hones with your doctor and yourself to make sure you are as prepared as possible to fend off another attack.

Next, I suggest that you look for alternate ways to handle the business at hand. If you discover that grocery shopping is one major stressor for you, see if there is a different way to go about it. Do you only panic when you are alone? If so, take a companion. Do you find that it is just one specific store that sets you off? Then just find a different store.

If you can find a way to prevent putting yourself in situations that are possible triggers, then do so. A lot of people would say that to really be healed, you should face your demons head on. I heartily disagree. There may be a time when you are ready to go to that place to test your skills at controlling panic attacks, but you should never feel like you must do it.

Since panic attacks are triggered almost exclusively by stress and perceived dangerous situations, throwing yourself into one to prove you are tough is not a good idea. It may take a very long time to get control and forcing the healing process is just going to add to the stress levels. This will, in turn, almost double your chance of having a panic attack immediately.

The absolute best thing to do is to avoid situations that trigger your attacks. However, you can remind yourself to breathe slowly and deeply. Do a lot of self-talk. Tell yourself that you are fine and that there is no real danger. Most importantly, be patient with yourself. There are many people who do not understand panic attacks. You do. Treat yourself kindly.

How to Treat Panic Attack Effectively

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

When you suddenly feel out of breath and dizzy, or you cannot think straight, you could be having a panic attack. Panic attacks occur more often than you might think and to anyone. Actually, everyone at some point in their lives has had one. To treat panic attack and anxiety attack when they occur is the most effective way to cure them.

Many people are so badly affect by panic attacks that they let it take over their lives. They do not like going out and they don’t take part in activities. They fear that they will make a fool of themselves. The panic attack is normally temporary, but it does feel very long when it is happening. Many people describe the incident as a heart attack. In fact, a lot of people are rushed into the hospital thinking that they are having a heart attack when it is not.

To treat panic attacks you have to first of all know how it feels and what to expect. You must understand that you will not die from it. The symptoms will go away, and this will all depend on you. You can make them go away faster by concentrating on them and how they are affecting you. You should take some deep breaths, and even do some kind of meditation techniques.

This will help you to calm down and the symptoms will go away faster. You can also try the prevention technique. Those who get stressed out very easily are prone to panic attacks. If you are like this, then eliminate stress.

Go for a run every day to release endorphins. Take out your frustrations by doing kickboxing or some other activity. You could choose to paint or read as a form of escape, or even just taking a long bubble bath might work.

Whatever you find makes you less stressed, do this to stop panic attacks before they even start. If you find yourself in a stressful situation and you start having a panic attack, try to stay calm. You have to talk yourself out of the attack and control your body.

This is easier said than done, but if you understand what is happening, you will find it easier to do. You will not panic about panicking, and you will not freak out if you suddenly can’t breathe or feel light headed. Take a minute, shut out the world, and focus on yourself for the best panic attack treatment.

Tips on Preventing Panic Attacks

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Panic attacks can be very severe and frequent. They are caused by a number of psychological conditions such as obsessive compulsive disorder or post traumatic stress, amongst others. Preventing panic attacks can be achieved through a number of methods such as those mentioned in the following tips.

Try to avoid caffeine, which is present in tea, coffee, chocolate, and colas. Research at the University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil has shown that if you suffer from panic attacks, caffeine makes both your chances of having an attack and the severity of the attack much more serious. If you can reduce caffeine, or avoid it altogether, you will have more success in preventing panic attacks

Breath control.

One of the symptoms of panic attacks is hyperventilation, which makes you feel light headed and dizzy. Breathing deeply and slowly will help you to control this, and can help you to stop it from starting! So practice taking slow, deep breaths to control or even prevent panic attacks. There are many other health benefits to doing this, too, such as improved circulation and better quality sleep.

Think positively!

Many people say that thinking happy or positive thoughts – or nothing at all – when they feel a panic attack starting, they can stop it or at least reduce it. Think of a happy occasion, a scene from your favourite film, or your favourite song to make yourself feel more positive. You have to train yourself to turn these thoughts on at will, which can be difficult in the beginning. Until this becomes easy for you, try counting down from 100 to 1. If you can combine this with your slow breathing, so much the better!

Exercise.

Did you know that a rush of adrenaline often accompanies a panic attack? You can avoid these rushes by exercising. Good news if you hate gyms – walking for about half an hour every day, ideally in a park, woodland or other natural environment, is enough. This helps you to release the adrenalin that your body builds up and stores, so there is never a large amount in your body that can make a panic attack worse. You will find, also, that as you are walking (or cycling, or whatever you choose), you will be breathing more deeply, and probably thinking positive thoughts!

All of these things will help. Sometimes, though, they are not enough. You may need some professional help for a while, and these experts may use techniques such as hypnosis or cognitive behavioural therapy which will help to identify the problem and then develop the techniques that will help you most to control your panic attacks or prevent them completely.
